Stitch Fix is sponsoring this post, but all opinions are my own.
I always love refreshing my wardrobe with Stitch Fix. My stylists have my style down to a science now. I am currently on my 6th Stitch Fix box, and I cannot say enough good things about it! If you’ve never tried Stitch Fix before though, you may be wondering what Stitch Fix is. I know in your head you may be thinking….Is this just another box that’s overpriced, that’s not tailored to me, and includes MAYBE one item that I would actually use. I can honestly and truly say that Stitch Fix is none of that!
Stitch Fix is a styling service, where each month stylists discover clothing especially for your body type, fit, and unique sizing. You start by filling out a style profile, and I recommend being as specific as possible with your responses, that way you are getting the most tailored experience from your box each month. You can also leave a detailed note for your stylist. This note would address any specific needs or concerns you have. Do you have a wedding coming up that you need an outfit for? Would you like to see more florals for spring in your next box? If you definitely hate stripes or jumpsuits, you would definitely not that in your styling box. You then get a variety of hand-picked items shipped directly to your doorstep. You’re only going to keep what you want and send the rest back in a prepaid mailing label. However, if you keep all the items, you receive a 25% discount for purchasing the entire box. You can schedule your boxes as frequently as you want, or have them sent once monthly to you.
For my current box, I asked my Stitch Fix stylist to pick out some spring essentials to work into my wardrobe. I like my boxes to come with a variety of different pieces, not just one full outfit, so that I can mix the items into my existing wardrobe. This box I was able to get a pair of white jeans from Madewell, the cutest off the shoulder top, a red-orange patterned dress from Collective Concepts, a floral skirt from Le Lis, and a floral button down cami from Madewell as well.
White jeans are so versatile in the summer months! They make any outfit look fabulous and I really love the frayed hem that this pair has. Being plus size, I used to think that white jeans made me look larger, or weren’t a good fit for my body type. This is untrue! Any clothing, as long as it fits your body type, is perfect for you if it makes you feel beautiful! The dress from Collective Concepts is so versatile. I can dress it up for work with a blazer and heels or down with my favorite pair of Converse and a jean jacket!
If you don’t have Stitch Fix currently, what are you waiting for? Here are some benefits for Stitch Fix:
- Stitch Fix boxes have something for the entire family: women, men and children! Women sizing comes in sizes 00-3XL and has maternity options available. Men’s clothing offers sizing in XS-3XL, waist 28-48”, and inseams of 28-36”. Kids clothing comes in sizes 2T-14!
- Each time you get a box and submit feedback, your stylists get a better understanding of your style. The notes you write to the stylists, the feedback that you give after you return a box, that is all information that is stored and remembered.
- You set your own pricing. When completing your style profile, you also list how much you’d like to spend per item. This way you never get something that’s out of your price range.
- You get introduced into new brands that you may not usually shop with. I know for sure this box I was introduced to Madewell, a brand I didn’t even know carried extended sizes!
The best part is, if you want to sign up for a stitch fix box, you can use this link here, and sign up and get a $25 credit for your first box!
