Date Night Christmas Cookie Decorating with Walmart
Thanks to Walmart for sponsoring this blog post and all opinions are my own.

One of the last dates we went on before quarantine began was a cooking class. We had so much fun cooking together that I wanted to do something similar for a date night at home. It has been so important to Cedrric and I that we work hard to stay connected and make the effort to continue to date each other, even though we are at home together all the time!

I wanted to do something fun, something that wasn’t just dinner and a movie. I decided that cookie decorating would be a super fun way to get creative with our date night at home! Cedrric and I are by no means pros at cookie decorating, but it was fun to do something new and enjoy each other’s company.

I was able to order everything I needed from Walmart. I actually made the gingerbread cookies from a recipe I had on hand, and then let them cool on these baking racks I found at Walmart. I picked up some icing, sprinkles, frosting decorator’s tips, and some festive platters that matched our farmhouse feel.

We had the best time! Luca was even tried to crash our party! Try this simple date night out with your spouse and let me know in the comments how it goes!
